First Visit to the Dentist

What will happen on my first visit to the Practice?
Unless it is an emergency visit our first meeting is used to gather information. We take this opportunity to really listen and to find out what you need and want. This is our chance to introduce you to the practice and what we have to offer. You will be given the opportunity to complete a detailed, confidential medical questionnaire that can help us provide you with personalised care.

We perform a detailed mouth examination of the teeth and soft tissues in the oral region. Often two small radiographs (X-rays) are taken to enable us to look underneath any fillings, and in between the teeth, for signs of decay.

We will listen to any concerns you have and encourage you to ask questions. Once the information has been gathered we can discuss suitable treatment options and help you decide on the best course of treatment for your circumstances. You will be provided with detailed quotes for the treatment options before we begin any work.
