Known as Pete,

Pete has lived in New Zealand  for twenty two years, and although born in North Yorkshire, England, he is now a Kiwi by citizenship and choice.

After dentistry, his main passion in life is travel and the great outdoors, never a tourist always a traveller, he has witnessed some of the good and the bad of every continent on the planet . Testimonials to his many adventures are seen in the photographs around the surgery walls.

Recent conquests include Aconcagua (6900m) Mt. Cook, Mt Aspiring, and in 2004 Mt Pumori  (7145m) in Nepal.

One of his travel highlights was without a doubt a trip to Patagonia and Antarctica. In 2015 Pete was part of an expedition to climb Mt Vinson(4892m),the highest mountain in Antarctica. It was a truly incredible experience.

Photography is his second passion closely followed by a keen interest in the culinary secrets of the places he visits, spicy food being Pete’s specialty. Fitness is central to his ability to squeeze more into a day than the average person. Just occasionally Pete needs a physical rest and pursues varied cultural and “thinking” pursuits.
