COVID-19 UPDATES

Please please follow the Government’s Level 4 advisory.

STAY HOME unless you’re in an “Essential Service’ as defined by the Government

THE PRACTICE IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE as per government regulations.

If you have a serious dental emergency (severe infection/severe pain/ dental trauma) please contact your nearest DHB emergency dental clinic. As yet we have no details as to where they will be, but as soon as we are aware we will update this site and our Facebook page.

If and when we can source the additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) we will be able to start seeing emergency cases only.  As you can imagine there is a global/national shortage of such products, but we are actively trying to source them.

If you have a dental problem and require advise please do ring the practice. Dr Raymond or Dr Gray will respond. We will NOT be able to offer any treatment under ANY circumstances. If you get through to voicemail please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Please be aware that EMAIL MESSAGES ARE NOT BEING CLEARED on regular basis.

As you know Blockhouse Bay Dental Centre has been serving our community for over 60 years, and we shall certainly be around for a least another 60!

Please lookout for each other, stay safe, follow government instructions, and together we can come through these uncertain times as a stronger community.

Keep safe.

Hands holding globeIn order to do our part to help limit the spread of Coronavirus, we wanted to share a few health tips with you. As one of your many partners in health, we feel it’s our duty to help ‘flatten the curve’.

Together, we can overcome  Covid-19—and save thousands of lives.

Here are a few things you can do to stay well and limit the spread of infection:

  • Practice proper hygiene—this means washing your hands for 20 seconds, and covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze.
  • Eat a balanced, nutrient rich diet—this is the time to add more veggies to your plate.
  • STAY HOME
  • Disinfect surfaces around your home and work—this includes your desk, computer, remotes, cell phones, doorknobs and light switches.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unclean hands.
  • Stay hydrated—drink enough water so you never feel thirsty.

Know that we are with you and stand with our community during this time.

We’ll be sharing new information and guidelines as we receive them, and invite you to follow us on social media for the latest updates.
